We are looking for an experienced, proactive, and results-driven Project Manager to lead and coordinate operational projects, client deliverables, and business initiatives in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Job summary
As an experienced project manager, you will be responsible to drive the delivery of key Projects. It fulfils a critical management role, having a high level of direct accountability and responsibility. Typically deployed as a programme or portfolio manager, the project manager contributes directly and positively to the business performance, understanding and translating business strategy and business objectives into actions and outcomes that optimise profitability and support growth
Key Responsibilities
Close monitoring of Projects to ensure that we remain on track, meet deadlines, stay under budget, and develop according to plan
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
Clarify specific requirements of project
Coordinate internal resources and third parties
Track the progress, report advancement and results, raise alerts if necessary
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Draft contracts, planning and specifications
Ensure compliance with client requirements, company policies, and local regulations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
Support business development activities and the implementation of new services when required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of project management experience in an international or service-oriented environment.
Strong stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Project (or equivalent project management tools).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Fluency in English and Azerbaijani is required; German and Russian are considered an advantage.
Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent) is an advantage.
