Work with divisional and business-unit GMs, divisional finance heads and senior leaders, including Commercial, to build risk awareness and strengthen controls. Coordinate risk assessments and maintain a Group-wide risk and controls register covering key risks, related controls, owners, assessment results, gaps, actions and deadlines. Escalate material exposures and overdue actions to the Finance Director.
Assess key processes and controls across areas such as procurement, inventory, expiry and returns, sales, pharmacy cash and discounts, payments, payroll and financial reporting. Recommend practical improvements and track agreed actions to closure.
Develop Group-wide SOPs for key processes; review divisional SOPs for alignment with Group requirements and work with management to address gaps and keep procedures current.
Coordinate and maintain divisional authority matrices, ensuring approval roles, delegated limits and escalation routes are clear, current and aligned with Group governance framework.
Assess controls over ERP-supported processes, including user access, segregation of duties, approval workflows, system changes and data integrity. Agree and monitor improvements with finance, IT and business owners.

Degree in finance, accounting, business or a related field; a professional qualification in risk, audit or internal control is an advantage.
Hands-on experience assessing processes and controls in a multi-division business, with the judgement and communication skills to work constructively with senior leaders and drive improvements.
