Build and grow profitable industrial accounts for Mantra by creating qualified RFQs, expanding buyer relationships, converting opportunities into orders and developing repeat business. This is a hands-on industrial B2B role - not a generic tele-sales, marketing or lead-passing position.
Job responsibilities
Own a portfolio of target and key industrial accounts; map buyers, technical stakeholders and decision-makers.
Generate qualified RFQs and new opportunities through meetings, visits, reactivation, referrals and proactive account development.
Grow existing customers through buyer penetration, cross-selling, category expansion and repeat-order opportunities.
Follow each meaningful opportunity from enquiry through quotation, clarification, negotiation and PO / verified loss - do not stop at lead generation.
Work closely with Procurement and Operations to prioritise opportunities, close client clarifications and maintain quotation momentum.
Identify tenders, projects, shutdowns, maintenance demand, vendor-registration opportunities and market intelligence relevant to Mantra.
Maintain disciplined account notes, pipeline, next actions and follow-up dates in Mantra systems; keep information factual and current.
Represent Mantra professionally in client meetings and help strengthen long-term commercial relationships after order and delivery.
Candidate profile
3+ years of proven B2B business development, technical sales or key-account experience; stronger experience is preferred.
Relevant exposure to oil & gas, energy, industrial, marine, EPC, MRO, engineering products, equipment or technical services.
Demonstrated ability to originate opportunities and open/expand accounts - not only manage inbound enquiries.
Commercially persistent: comfortable following quotations, negotiating, recovering dormant buyers and asking directly for the next opportunity.
Engineering/technical background is preferred; strong industrial sales experience can substitute for degree specialisation.
Strong professional English and Azerbaijani communication; Russian is a strong advantage for local industrial interaction.
Comfortable with targets, KPI-linked variable pay, structured follow-up, Google Workspace/Excel and transparent performance measurement.
High integrity, ownership, urgency and judgement; able to work cross-functionally with Procurement, Operations and Management.

The Person We Want
A commercially aggressive but professional account-builder who creates movement, follows through, and is motivated by winning quality business. Pure retail/FMCG, call-centre, social-media marketing or passive sales-coordination profiles are unlikely to fit this role.
